11th Annual Bonita Springs Short Film Fest

The 11th Annual Bonita Springs Short Film Fest returns on Thursday, April 16th at Prado Stadium 12 (25251 Chamber of Commerce Drive, Bonita Springs). This year's festival celebrates the theme of "community" through the art of local filmmaking.

The evening kicks off with a gala at 6:30 p.m., followed by film screenings at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 and available at pradostadium12.com.

Local and regional filmmakers of all ages are invited to submit short films (10 minutes or under, PG-13 appropriate) at bonitaspringsfilmfestival.org/guidelines. There is a $10 submission fee. Selected films will compete for awards including Best Overall, Best Depiction of Bonita Springs, Most Original, Best Under-18 Filmmaker, and People's Choice Award.

Born from a grassroots movement in 2013, the Bonita Springs Short Film Festival has grown into a beloved annual tradition celebrating the natural beauty and community spirit of Bonita Springs.
