Greg Dyer

Director of Operations

Greg Dyer is the Director of Operations for Pure Florida, where he oversees one of Southwest Florida’s most diverse and active marine tourism fleets while helping guests experience the very best of Naples from the water. Greg oversees all operations for the company’s sightseeing cruises, eco-tours, and fishing adventures, ensuring every trip is safe, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Greg grew up in a military family, a background that shaped his leadership style and the values he brings to his work today. Respect, integrity, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to taking care of people. After finishing his time at Purdue University, he moved to Naples in 2016 and joined Pure Florida as a jet ski tour guide. Starting at the entry level gave him a deep appreciation for the guest experience and a firsthand understanding of what makes a day on the water truly special.

Over the years, Greg worked his way up through nearly every role in the company. Today, he leads a talented team of captains, crew members, and support staff who share his passion for hospitality and the outdoors. Whether it’s a family dolphin cruise, a relaxing sightseeing trip, or a long-range deep-sea charter, Greg’s focus is creating safe, memorable experiences that showcase the beauty and excitement of Southwest Florida.

Outside of work, Greg is an avid supporter of the Home Base Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping veterans and service members recover from the invisible wounds of combat. Supporting this mission is deeply personal to him and reflects his continued connection to the military community he grew up in.

Greg is known for his approachable leadership, passion for the water, and dedication to the guests who make Pure Florida what it is. His journey from tour guide to Director of Operations is a story he’s proud of, and one that continues to inspire the way he leads the company every day.

Q & A with Greg

There is nothing better than being on the water! I was able to learn that firsthand, and there was nothing I love more than sharing that same experience I had when I first moved down.

  • 3. What’s something most people don’t know about your business or what you do?

  • 7. Any memorable visitor story or moment that stands out?

It’s hard to choose just one moment, but what always sticks with me are the guests who return year after year. Whether it’s a sightseeing cruise or a fishing trip, I love running into them on the docks and saying hello and having them share how much they love coming back. Seeing familiar faces and knowing our trips are part of their family traditions makes all the hard work worth it.

  • 8. Your favorite time of year in SWFL?

Summertime! Late sunsets means taking the boat out after work to watch the sunset, more long range fishing trips, and the warm weather that makes living in Florida the best!
