Q & A with Kelly

  • 1. What inspired you to get into this industry?

It really started with our own family adventures—riding electric bikes around town with our kids in tow and realizing how fun, easy, and thrilling it was to explore Naples this way. We loved the sense of freedom it gave us and how it turned a simple ride into something memorable. That experience sparked the idea to bring that same joy to others. We wanted to create something approachable and rooted in the local community, something that makes it easy for both visitors and locals to fall in love with Naples from a whole new perspective.

  • 2. What do you love most about being part of the tourism community?

I love providing visitors and locals with a memorable, joyful, and enhanced way to experience the beauty of Naples, and seeing the positive impact that unique experience has on them.

  • 3. What’s something most people don’t know about your business or what you do?

Most people don’t realize that Naples Electric Bikes is as local and hands-on as it gets—there’s no storefront, no employees, just me and my husband running every part of the business. We handle the deliveries, customer service, route recommendations, and everything in between. It’s a true mom-and-pop operation, and we take a lot of pride in offering a personal, seamless experience that feels more like borrowing from a friend than renting from a company.

  • 4. Your favorite local spot(s)?

We live in North Naples, so we tend to stick close to home—and we love it that way! Jack’s Seafood Bar & Grill is one of our go-to spots; it’s got that laid-back, “where everybody knows your name” kind of feel. We’re also big fans of casual favorites like Tacos & Tequila when we’re in the mood for something fun and easy. It’s those neighborhood places that make Naples feel like home.

  • 5. Your favorite meal in town?

As parents, we probably order from New York Pizza & Pasta more often than we care to admit—but for good reason! Their pizza is always a hit with the kids (and honestly, with us too), and we usually add on a pasta or one of their specialty dishes to make it a well-rounded meal for the grown-ups. It’s easy, satisfying, and always hits the spot after a long day.

  • 6. Your favorite experience in town?

On our days off, we love hopping on our bikes and riding to Clam Pass. Walking the boardwalk and having a casual lunch overlooking the water at Rhodes End is one of our favorite ways to unwind. It’s such a peaceful, local experience that feels like a mini escape—something we always recommend to visitors and try to enjoy ourselves as often as we can.

  • 7. Any memorable visitor story or moment that stands out?

It’s hard to pick just one, but what really sticks with us is the feeling we get every time someone tells us how much they loved exploring Naples by bike. Being able to share a little piece of the life we love with visitors is incredibly fulfilling.

  • 8. Your favorite time of year in SWFL?

That's a tough one! We love season—it’s our busiest time of year, and there’s an exciting energy in town with so many visitors exploring Naples. But we also really enjoy the summer months. Things slow down just enough for us to spend more quality time with our kids, enjoy the beach, and take in the beauty of Naples at a more relaxed pace. It’s the best of both worlds.
