Aqua

Aqua is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant on historic 5th Avenue in Downtown Naples, the original of what is now a group of four locations. The kitchen pairs seafood with steaks. Grilled Mediterranean octopus comes with kalamata olives and cannellini beans, P.E.I. mussels arrive in a Pernod and fennel broth, and the sea bass is miso-glazed. Grain- and grass-fed beef from A Cut Above Butcher is served with a roasted garlic bulb.

A raw bar shucks oysters and clams to order, and whole snapper, branzino or Dover sole is de-boned tableside. Handcrafted cocktails such as the Aquatini and Cucumbertini round out the drinks list, and live music is part of the evening. The restaurant suits a romantic dinner, a business meeting or a night out with friends. It also hosts private celebrations such as rehearsal dinners and anniversaries.
