Michelbob's Championship Ribs & Steaks has been smoking meats and making its sauces and sides from scratch in Naples since 1979. The signature dish is slow-smoked barbecue baby back ribs imported from Denmark, backed by steaks, chicken, fried catfish, salads and oversized sandwiches, with housemade onion rings, baked beans and cole slaw on the side. Cocktails and tropical margaritas round out the menu, and the restaurant bottles its own barbecue sauce and dry rub.
The original Airport-Pulling Road location is a family-run spot with cozy rustic decor, Coca-Cola memorabilia, whimsical signs and the many rib and sauce trophies it has collected over the years. With a kids' menu, outdoor seating and a casual, friendly feel, it suits families, groups and anyone after a relaxed barbecue meal.
