Mino

Mino is a pizzeria, bar and ristorante on Dockside Boardwalk near Tin City and downtown Naples. It is run by Massimo Puglielli, whose childhood nickname gave the place its name. His family is from Pescara, Italy, and the kitchen follows a simple rule: uncomplicated food made with fresh ingredients. The pizzas are Neapolitan style, baked in a brick oven and served whole and unsliced, with San Marzano tomatoes and fresh fior di latte mozzarella. The pasta is homemade egg pasta, including spaghetti alla chitarra and fettuccine.

The decor is simple and nods to the small pizzerias of the old country. Guests can sit on a patio bar stool and watch passers-by, dine fireside while the pizzas are made, or use the separate full bar with flatscreen TVs for live sports. Mino suits diners who miss the food of Italy.
