Aldas Restaurant & Bar

Aldas Restaurant & Bar, known on its own website as Alda's Diner, is an all-American breakfast and lunch spot at the southwest end of the Mission Hills shopping center in North Naples. Husband and wife Arjan and Esmeralda Vasha co-own it, and the name comes from Esmeralda's nickname. The couple previously ran a café and catering business at VillageWalk of Bonita Springs and a restaurant in Michigan.

Everything is made from scratch, and the owners describe the food as homemade cooking like grandma makes it. Breakfast brings omelets, skillets, pancakes, waffles and crepes. Lunch covers hamburgers, gyros, pitas and sandwiches. The dining room was redone inside, booths included. It suits anyone after generous, unfussy home cooking for a hearty morning meal or a casual midday bite.
