Bernwood Tavern and Cucina

Bernwood Tavern and Cucina is a neighborhood Italian restaurant in North Naples serving comfort food: pizza, pasta, seafood and steak. Once an Indian restaurant, the space was reworked into a tavern by Chef Ron Casterline, who built his reputation as a caterer. The kitchen leans on seafood and classic pasta, from Ron's five-cheese lasagna and spaghetti Bolognese to frutti de mare with lobster tail, clams, mussels and scallops over angel hair. House-made meatballs, arancini and soups such as Italian wedding and pasta fagioli round out the menu.

A full bar pours fine wines, craft cocktails and mocktails, and there is outdoor seating on a terrace patio. The tavern suits dinner with friends or a casual bite after work, and it also has space for private events such as weddings, birthdays and corporate gatherings.
