Fathom Charters runs private charters on its Tiara 43LS, a sport yacht with a shaded cockpit, a cabin with air conditioning and an onboard bathroom with a shower. Every trip is private, for up to 12 guests, with pickup in Naples or on Marco Island, and the plan is yours: the crew's approach is to let guests lead the way.
Four-hour trips include sunset cruises, dolphin watching, lunch or dinner by boat at Marco Island's waterfront restaurants, and beach days on Keewaydin Island. Longer days go to Cabbage Key and its island inn, or to Goodland for Sunday Fun Day at Stan's Idle Hour and the Mullet Festival, and two-day trips sail to Key West, sleeping aboard. Fathom also hosts celebration-of-life ceremonies with burial at sea, and boat tours of waterfront real estate for buyers and agents.
Charters are booked online. The captain's fee of $100 an hour is paid at the dock, and cancellations with 24 hours' notice get a full refund or credit.
