Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs on Tamiami Trail North is the Naples location of a pizza brand whose story began in 1973. That year, founder Jim Hearn turned a small hamburger shop in Taylor, Michigan, into a pizzeria. The brand is known for inventing Flavored Crust pizza. Its eight crust flavors, from butter and Asiago cheese to Cajun, sesame and ranch, can go on original round, deep dish, thin or gluten-free crusts. Like every Hungry Howie's, the store is independently owned and operated, and its dough is made fresh daily.

Beyond pizza, the menu covers calzone-style oven-baked subs, Howie Bread, Howie Wings, fresh salads and desserts such as the Howie Cookie and Cinnamon Bread. It suits casual group meals, game nights and study sessions, where everyone can build a pie with their own toppings.
