Leonis Pizzeria

Leonis Pizzeria is a family-owned pizzeria and Italian restaurant with a location in Naples Park, one of several it runs across Southwest Florida. Owners Thomas and Joanne Venetis build the menu around New England-style pizza made from a family recipe, with homemade dough, a special blend of pizza sauce and 100% natural Wisconsin cheese. Pies range from Margherita and white pizza to Buffalo chicken, taco and shrimp scampi versions.

Beyond pizza, the kitchen turns out Philly cheese steaks made with U.S.D.A. Choice steak, oven-baked subs, and Buffalo-style wings in sauces from garlic Parmesan to Asian sticky. Italian standbys include baked ziti, stuffed shells and homemade lasagna, and salads such as Greek and antipasto round things out. With easygoing dining rooms and a wide menu, it suits families and groups who don't all want the same thing.
