Vesuvio's Pizza is a pizza restaurant and bar at the Gulfcoast Inn on Tamiami Trail North, run by Tony Amico, known locally as "Pizzaman Tony." He opened Vesuvio's in Naples Park in 1983 and in 2021 joined the Gulfcoast Inn, alongside Harold's Place and Fujiyama Steakhouse of Japan. Tony makes everything in-house from his family recipes.
The menu centres on New York-style pizza in three sizes, plus Sicilian and Chicago deep-dish pies, calzones, stromboli, salads and hot and cold subs. Starters include garlic knots, fried ravioli, mozzarella sticks and wings, with tiramisu and profiteroles to finish. A full liquor bar serves cocktails, draft and bottled beer, and wine. It suits relaxed family dinners, birthday parties and larger groups of friends, relatives or coworkers.
